You re too influenced by vilainess’ stories, the brother ( baby) was a tragic incident/story but her mom is an awful person and villain, she doesn’t deserve repentance and forgiveness. No redemption arc can save that excuse of a mother. Lahir influenced her but she chose to abuse her daughter, she has a brain and chose to torment her daughter. Not all villainesses deserve redemption
I think you have read a totally different story, the baby brother was innocent and his soul was destroyed, that was the only regrettable thing. The mother on the other hand, did all those atrocities willingly. She was lied to yes but she chose to commit them every single time. She killed thousands and tortured her daughter relentlessly for thinking that she took her powers. She was greedy, selfish, cruel and unredeemable. Other villainesses characters so far were redeemable, this one is not.
Really? From what I remember while reading, she was influenced by the fake son, but everything she did was willing. It’s not like he took her mind under control or possessed her like he did to her son. He gave her options, and she was originally greedy, so her greed increased over time. The son isn’t the one that made her abuse leticia. She already disliked leticia even before the fake possessed her son, hence why she kept them apart and was mad when the real baby son went near her for the first time. She realized at the very end that she was influenced but she also didn’t care about leticia in the end. Even when the truth was revealed, she never said sorry, never wanted to say sorry, and in the end her final wish was to make the ones who used her suffer (the fake). She was unfortunate to me when she was a young child/saint, but after that, she had a ton of free-will.
Yeah I knew the demon definitely influenced her but she wasn’t being mind controlled. At some point she was old enough to know better and near her end, she realized the truth and just thought: “oh he used me? Maybe my hate for leticia wasn’t real? Anyways-!” And continued on to have her final wish be revenge against him instead of have any remorse for the people she hurt.
Also I know he gave her the box thing at 15, meaning she had time until she had her kid. She had her son first, then had her daughter. From the moment leticia was born, she was angry because she felt like she lost some of her powers when leticia was born. Then there was a single scene where the real son visited leticia as a baby and was genuinely happy. The mother got angry and separated them. The son looked sad as he was taken away. Then came the scene where the son was pushed to open the box by the mom- according to what guy said years ago. The box opening allowed the son to be possessed. There was no clear indication of how much manipulation there was, but the fact that everything was realized by her in the end and she still didn’t care shows more that she was willing to an extent. Even if her hate for leticia wasn’t real, her harm and greed for power was real even at 15 hence why she took the box.
Anyways I’m just saying she was unfortunate at 15, but she was responsible for her actions and grew old enough to realize.
Also to add onto something I read from your comment, it may be true that the son took all the love from her, but having no love for someone doesn’t automatically mean they’ll hate the person. It’s more likely that if the love doesn’t exist, they’ll be neglectful and don’t care for them. Not actively abuse the person. I just think you may have gotten confused thinking that the demon had total control over the mom. If that were the case, he would’ve been able to easily manipulate/control anyone and everyone which was shown in the story that he can’t do that. There were also moments where the demon didn’t expect or didn’t like what the mom did, so it means that the mom has free will.
Listen, at the end of the day if the author aint want ppl to feel bad for the mom and real brother, they shouldn't have put those flashbacks. To a lot of you, it doesn't change anything but for me it did. All your comments mean to me is that we've taken two different conclusions from what we've read and I feel more compassion for her character than you do. I wish yall held just as much smoke for the real winds tho

I cant help but feel bad for Leticias mom and brother. Her brother didn't even get a chance and her mom was manipulated at 15 yrs old and sealed her fate w that damn box. I would love to see her go back in time and get the chance to save her children and love Leticia like the being who took over her son said she was originally supposed to. She was originally supposed to love both her kids and who knows if she still would've been cruel without that thing corrupting her. The goddess should have helped her too.
