To be honest i was one of that opinion, i am realy uncomfortable with incest stories, but i checked again a couple of days ago and saw in the coments they weren't related and gave it a chance and omg the story is 100% worth it

I just made a comment (I stopped at chap17) because I kept reading to confirm if they were related, but the girl and the alpha share the same dad right? They are half siblings. That chapter she said she was an illegitimate child with a male omega mother. The alpha and the girl share the same dad. Those two are related so therefore her son and her brother are related. BUT I did stop there. I kept reading to confirm if that was true, and I don’t see why a character so close to the main characters would lie like that (and not be called out if she was).
Regardless of the alpha and the girls personal relationship, if they TRUELY have NO blood relations at all, then please let me know, cause the way I read it is that they are related. (I try not to put my own life scenarios into fiction, especially BL, but I have half siblings and they have children, and ewww, just humoring the thought of what the story is insinuating is so gross)
If they truly are not related, I’m just wondering why would an author continue writing as if they were related but then do another twist that they suddenly aren’t? Literally will make so many people stop reading.

haewon himself says it in chapter 15 “it’s not like we’re really family. joo haeyoung, did you think i wouldn’t know you’re the child of our father’s ex wife?” basically stating that her mother already had her when she married his father (that would become hers too because of the marriage)
Right, and not only are they not blood related but they also didn’t grow up as if they were family at all. Had they had a genuine uncle/nephew relationship ever since uke was a baby then that would’ve been weird af regardless of the blood relation, but they didn’t.
I removed the first part and that is what kept me reading cause it was on the fine line of, not blood related but morally objectionable. Fine, I can deal with that in some cases. But then she was so keen on them being uncle and nephew and then siblings. You’re the child of our father’s ex wife….I can’t recall that exact moment, but then if that’s the case, why is she important?! She has no connection to the family especially if it’s an ex-wife? Wtf? The family is causing more drama than the kid who desperately needs therapy and positive parental guidance!

haeyoung is older than haewon, so she was the sole inheritor before he was born. all she cares about is the father’s inheritance, so that’s why she hid sooha. i recommend you to re read again to avoid any more confusion, especially if you’ve forgotten these details.
I think it is a translation issue thats causing this discrepancy.
like the rating is that way only because people went with “they are related ew” and didn’t bother to read the whole thing to confirm it wasn’t true? i’ve been watching how week after week the rating goes lower, when the story itself has gotten better….
edit to clarify further: joo haeyoung (sooha’s mother) had him when she was much younger and, since she didn’t want to ruin her chances at inheritance, she kept him a secret from her father. important to say, her mother brought her from a previous relationship (chapter 15), thus making the father not her biological father. later, this same father met haewon’s mother and had him. that being said, haeyoung and haewon are step siblings and are not blood related at all. in consequence, jooha and haewon are not blood related either.
