I don’t think that Skylar doesn’t accept himself as gay, I think he’s just scared of re-experiencing the social repercussions that come with being gay. Korea is much less accepting of homosexuality than the west, so his fear is warranted, he wants to be careful so that won’t get hurt again. I also don’t think that Cirrus being comfortable enough to open up about his trauma necessarily means that Skylar has to be. People open up about traumatic experiences at their own pace. Skylar took it way overboard punching Cirrus, but Cirrus shouldn’t have picked at Skylar’s trauma until Skylar himself was ready to speak about it. Love them both tho, they honestly just needa get high and have a nice long chat lmao.
I doubt Cirrus would’ve done this if he had known about his trauma, but either ways wrong still. And I agree so much with you that everyone takes time to open up, it really isn’t easy.
Their relationship is so complicated. I'm more of a Cirrus stan than skylar, i still like them both. The biggest problem in their relationship is that Skylar dosen't accept himself as gay, and that brings misunderstandings, he hides, push and hurts Cirrus, this is also the reason for his violent behavior towards others.
I know Cirrus has trauma too, but he tries to communicate this dosen't make some of his actions right, just saying people like him need reassurance that he isn't alone.
