Well I'm with you, the most sus is Carnell, as he lied to the emperor in chapter 31, stating that he wasn't on the west wing during that day, but he crossed paths with Riella, so, super sus.

I have no idea, somebody probably paid him to make the emperor lose health or dead
there's too much going on and so little being solved. i'm placing the bet on carnall or whatever his name is as the spy. we're on chapter 30s and there's no hint that emperor is suspecting riella is the cause of his sudden hightened mind reading. how long will it take until we reach that part?
