From my understanding, red hair brother saw that mitten was A LOT happier without him but instead with Jooin, and that although still scared of him mitten is able to stand up for himself and he could no longer use his vulnerability against him. As he said so himself he sued Jooin as a warning to the both of them especially to Ye-gyum that they should remember their place and that Ye-gyum still belonged to him if they didn’t want things to worsen
hey everything you said is right but just wanna correct something lol. jooyoung, the brother, didn't sue jooin. it's the police who are arresting jooin for embezzlement and other crimes, but it was the brother jooyoung who handed over that evidence to the police. i'm not sure if the evidence is true if jooin was really comitting all these crimes but i guess we'll find out
