Being made fun of by a crush

KikiBee February 8, 2017 8:39 am

When I was a kid this happened to me, I told a "friend" that I liked a guy when we were talking about crushes. Only I lied, cause I felt left out because I didn't like anyone, so I randomly said I liked a boy. About 2 minutes after they left they went and told the guy...and the entire school...I was so embarrassed. So I totally identify with her. But I did learn a very important lesson about lying. And trusting people lol.

... Ouch. I know I had a few crushes... but I never said anything. I just remained friends or classmates. (never fell in love though)

I have to say, that 'friend' ... is rude, even if their intention (may) have been trying to push you forward (probably a cover story).

I'm falling in love right now...haha first time,

The friend was pretty two faced and looking back now was absolutely not. I can still see the look on their face when they realized they had something to tell people. Later I realized she was just part of the bully crowd and I was trusting

Waaah, I've also experimented this once, in elementary school in 10th grade. I played with this friend at her home and she suddenly talked me about crushes : I've said I don't have one but she insisted so I've randomly said I've interested by a boy in my class otherwise she didn't let me go.. And next morning, everyone knew about it and I was also very embarassed, she said she didn't do this on purpose but she didn't look like sorry. But she has moved out next year.(sorry if I have a lot of spelling mistakes, I'm French)

^^ don't worry about the spelling, I'm 'english' and still suck at spelling.

Did you do anything to get back at her telling the class, or did you continue being friends?

Not really, I'm very shy, I tried but it didn't work ╥﹏╥
I don't really know if we are still friends because we don't have very much tchatted for a long time anymore.

In a way I guess that's good. If they don't respect you or your privacy, I can't... find it hard to consider them as a friend.

You need to be able to trust friends, you can't with someone like that.
