whats this amnesia incident??

i picked up back in 2020 i believe. last thing i remember is them all being in one room and i think the little boy getting his food cut off??? im hearing it gets worse after some amnesia but i dont recall if that was before or after. at what chapter should i just say quits to end off on a good note
