It's hard to visualize but it actually happens I actually relate too much with this story so it's really frustrating reading it even if it's not exactly the same situation my ex boyfriend cheated on me with some girl, then he told me he was poly and actually manipulated me into a "poly" relationship kind of shit, I'm finally free of that bullshit after 10 years of relationship, 5 which I lived in that hell of open/poly relationship, that's why I rooting misaki to get out of that and be happy
i mean i do know it happens (the manipulation and coercion) for their current relationship, but outside of that it does not happen, it’s precisely because of the situation they are in that they agree to anything.

my issue with this story are the forced personality changes. it does not feel natural and creates tension inside and outside the story (inside= among the characters and outside= because we know it’s bs).
i just find it hard to visualize how someone would be ok with this kind of situation let’s all take a look at our cast: a guy that does not respect boundaries, a man that lacks a backbone and a woman who does not respect herself.
i keep reading it because i want to see it through, whether it is that i’m failing to understand the author’s vision or not but it IS frustrating!! and the chapters are way too short, unbefitting for this kind of stories.
