IT'S THIIISSSS IT'S THIS SO MUUUUCHHHHHHH Susumu is SUCH a real character and he's not even a horrible person. We see his vulnerable sides and all his inner thoughts so it makes it easy for us to pick his flaws but I can imagine other people he interacts with probably thinking he's so nice to talk to and stuff. I actually have never seen a character so human.
the pacing is very fast but the writing is absolutely amazing. I think the reason its rating is so low is because susumu is a very realistic character, which is why everyone hates him. Hes young, selfish, and very obviously suffering from his mental health. I actually think this manga is a really good stand-out from other yaois, the characters arent all fluff and rainbows lol. I do hope this author does intent to grow susumu's character from his current standing and doesn't just play it off as a gimmick or something. Also, I like how susumu is still an asshole after getting together with tobias, it proves love doesnt fix anything and I think the way I'd like this manga to go is for susumu to fix himself first, then reach out to tobias when hes ready.
