i was re-reading this after like 4 years bc i thought I'd understand the characters better now. on my take..cheng knew from long ago that his feelings for the mc wasn't "sibling-like" and the idea of him having sexual or romantical thoughts towards a guy disgusted him (bi in denial), but he..idk i just feel like he deliberately kept ed hanging around for "debt repay" and seeing ed with another man, made him lose it?? that rape scene just took whatever understanding i wanted to have on cheng's character. anyways he was a coward till the end, and I'm glad ed didn't have much more scenes with cheng bc most of their scenes are basically ed being emotionally or physically hurt. probably won't be getting any extra episodes on this manhwa, but i hope Cheng found someone and actually stayed true to his feelings instead of being a coward and hurting them.
