I thought the beginning of this was a ridiculous scenario. She slept with him to pay him back for killing his favorite horse. 1. She was a virgin still! That is something a person only can lose once in life. So that was worth wa~~y more than that horse. 2. Why hunker down under the horse instead of yanking the children out of the way? Horses are VERY heavy. Her body is not going to protect BOTH of the children. 3. I'm sure he could've stopped that horse without killing it anyways!!!
