Honestly the ML is manipulative and uses threats to get Mc to do what he wants.
I love their interactions, he's sweet in his own way and this is full of tension and angst.
If you're looking for a green flag or wholesome story, this ain't it.
If you like a good fantasy story with a lot of angst and character development, then this is perfect.
Nah, he's not toxic. I'm life 50 chapters in, he may be a sociopath and a bit rude, but he is NOT toxic.
