Everything they don’t think he is compatible with Ian, they don’t think he stand up to TJ, they think he can be on the same level as TJ, etc. Listen I’ve watch and read a lot of gangsters fiction and you should never underestimate the under dog even if they are just regular citizens. Idk why I had to explain given the hate in the comments Jo receives.
Hate comments fluctuate between Jo and TJ a lot. It’s the first time I don’t see that many TJ hate comments and that’s just because this chapter was in his favor in the love plotline.
I mean sure, I’ve also seen people talk about how it seems Jo is in the wrong webtoon, but it seems to me that the main reason why people started being frustrated is because even in the time Ian spends with Jo, his thoughts revert back to TJ. Someone argued once that they were mad because even the first time Ian slept with Jo, he had to compare the size of his d*ck to TJ’s. The history TJ and Ian have also seems to put Ian at a disadvantage because of the place TJ holds in Ian’s heart. Personally I think it could also easily play against TJ, as it had throughout season 1. I’m just glad it isn’t anymore.
Anyway, it’s clear Jo has layers we have yet to uncover, but I don’t think “underestimation” is what’s going on here. From what I’m gathering, a lot of people love Jo and they would rather he wasn’t put in danger with the gang life and they blame Ian for that. Plus people are so stuck with the “green flag” and “toxic” narratives that they can’t see anything beyond that.
It's obvious for Ian to compare TJ and Jo because he sees similarities between them and he's comparing them. I saw someone made a comment about TJ and Jo being two sides of the same coin which is true. They do have similarities despite their differences but their actions and behaviours are different when they come across a similar situation. Ian is comparing two sides of love.
lol I like how yall are underestimating Jo like we haven’t even seen what he can do yet I can’t wait I feel like Jo is about that life once he gets pushed.
