It's still open ended since we don't know whether Dojin decided to stay together with Juyeon or decided to contact his sister.
No yeah I get that. I meant if they went the tragedy route I'd also want it to be open ended. Like he forgets everything, but maybe remembers one thing from the last week kind of deal.
Also now that I'm thinking about it I wonder if Juyeon would actually be happy that he's remembered now. He's had 2yrs of Dojin to himself, pretty much controlled his environment, and knows exactly what to expect whenever the week starts again. I'm not sure if there wouldn't be some part of him upset that Dojin would be reintegrating into society and functioning on his own.
If the author wanted to expand on the ending, they could totally make this crazy and show Juyeons darker side, 'cause the setup is there.
Or if Dojins memory has healed a bit but maybe after a month/6 months he forgets instead. Man, wouldn't that shock Juyeon one day. That would be cruel to him if they got together.
this is amazing and im satisfied. Honestly a great read, answered mostly everything. I think i would like this more if he had admitted his love, teacher had proposed with the ring and then he woke up and forgot. It felt too jarring? I guess since he had kept forgetting for 79 weeks, yet he remembers this last time?
Idk the bittersweet approach and having juyeon willingly look after him and go through everything again to signify his emotions and love would've felt more timeless and kept a lasting impact. I'm happy its happy but a part of me yearns for that tragedy
They could've left it open ended to where he remembered something like with the past intercourse, and how the sis is alive, except maybe he remembered the i love you or another aspect. Or hit his head and it jogged memories. Either way I did enjoy this. Actually surprised.
