So the curse is actually carried out by the men in the family. In the sister-in-laws story, she was supposed to be the one who took over the manor, making sure that the bloodline ended with her. She had a husband and a son, and her son was born without the curse. But unfortunately she was accidentally cut and that got her husband and son killed. So she had to step down. I hope this helps!

I meant in regards to the male and female lead, since the ml has that curse, and the female lead has a different curse, which is why his curse cacels hers out. ( hense her coming back to life)
