Is different in this one, Hachi works because she compared Nana to her BOYFRIENDS, but Kana is comparing Akane to herself as a woman, "if I were a man and I had to pick you, Akane or me, Kana, I'd pick you" which shows self steem issues

i mean, kana said that if akane was a man she would choose her, it's like hachi saying if nana were a guy, she would be the love of her life. Just date each other already, don't make the same mistake by letting a guy ruin your romance.
