I feel like it's not TJ and JO who is the problem but IAN, he can't have each foot in two boats and sail, I like TJ and JO but I really hate IAN
I mean Ian did let them know he isn’t exclusive to neither so he’s not exactly leading them on and Jo specifically knows this.
with how the usual story trope is, Ian will likely end up with Jo. I wouldn’t say Ian “love” TJ like in a romantic feelings but more like attachment or dependency like you said. When you been with someone for so long, u get attached like the uke in Missing Love. Ian did feel guilty for considering sleeping with the guy so it could be that he’s developing feelings for Jo ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Yeah, I can't say anything about that, you're right but he's still giving hope to both of them, he isn't outright rejecting anyone, he wanted nothing to do with gang and TJ but would be the first one to run and care for him whereas for Jo he'll be distant once and then care/cuddle him again, that hope Ian gives to both of them is the reason why both guys are still around him.
Or maybe I am wrong, I haven't read latest ch. so I don't know the progress of the story.
In this trope mostly the mc ends up with someone that he has a toxic relationship with and that's why you can see both possibilities in this manhwa but it all depends on the author. She is actually an amazing writer so I think she can pull off any of them being the endgame. I don't think Ian is developing feelings for Jo because of guilt. He likes him but I don't think he loves him romantically. In fact I really don't think Ian knows what love is.
Does Ian truly love TJ or is it because of their codependency? When you’re with someone for a long time, you may see them differently. I definitely think he has some lingering feelings for TJ, but I don’t know how to feel considering they’re really codependent so I question.
TJ pulled him back into the gang world, Ian ran away at first but now he’s back into the hole and stuck to TJ. And now TJ is going away for a bit.
I’m not rooting for TJ, nor am I rooting for Jo. Both have their differences. I’m just rooting for what Ian WANTS. Some readers enjoy the thrill of the dangerous world but I still remember Ian saying that he wants a normal life, out of the gang. But let’s not get angry when Ian chooses someone they aren’t a fan of, it’s not your choice.
It’s unpredictable who Ian will end up with. But I just hope it’s not where TJ dies and Ian finally chooses Jo or where Jo is used as a stepping stone for their relationship to make progress.
