I haven't read the spoilers, nor do I know where i should read it but it doesn't change the fact that he got assaulted, imo he hasn't cheated *yet*, idk about the future though, but I will trust your words on the fact that he will. Also, can you tell me where I can find the novel? I searched a lot but didn't find it

I don't disagree with the assault allegations HOWEVER many people consider drunken mistakes as cheating nonetheless - I would definetly be intereseted in your opinion on this

As for my personal stance I believe the "cheating" in this scenario is the fact that he is withholding this information from her + even said that he was "bothered" by the other woman (which either can mean annoyed or had some level of interest). Sure, he was assaulted, and if his reason for not telling her was because he was traumatized & can't talk about it then I'd give him more credit BUT he literally said "oh she gonna leave me if I say anything..." which IMO implies a guilty conscious since his case is easily something that someone with their head screwed on properly would understand and not break up over.

But we are missing context like: was he aware while drunk that it was not his gf, was he completely asleep (the small flashback indicates no), etc

(also search the comments there was a thread where someone was answering questions about the novel - apparently he slept with her on purpose to see if he truly loved MC)

Next, about the spoilers, man, Idk if they're even true, because I searched for the novel and didn't find it, and as for the author's ig, I found it but there was nothing much about why he was cheating.

I will still label it as assault because he fainted after being drunk, I think, so it was not even a drunken mistake, it was straight up assault. Next, yes, I agree, about the fact that him not telling her is bad, you can even label it as cheating to some extent. I just hope he tells her because I haven't disliked him till now much and I don't want to because he's been such a green flag, man

About you asking my opinion on drunken mistakes. For me, it depends on the situation, like if my partner blacked out or was completely sh*t drunk that he couldn't even tell who he was seeing, that would be assault(so obviously, not cheating). Next, if he was drunk enough, that he could tell people apart, even though he couldn't remember anything the next morning, that's cheating, or for me atleast.
