I hate when ppl read stories with kids and treat them as adults ken and his bro obvious dislike for their dad had nothing to do with him being gay and actually with him leaving their mom ..they was children and thought being gay was the reason for their family falling apart I bet u $100 if the dad did the same thing with a woman.their hatred would be the same and they might of hated women just like many irl boys do behave..they both being gay and still have resentment to their dad proves that their hatred goes beyond the dad being gay ..plz think and remember that the story started when they were both very young and ken recently turned 17 still a minor ..

You are right. Ken and Kyouichi even had a discussion (and I think Ken had one with Kirara). They didnt hate their dad for being gay. Kyouichi said he hated the family was getting a divorce and his dad had a new relationship. He went with his dad (and Ken followed his big brother) to give him hell, but the more he grew, the more that anger subsided. He even brought Ken into the mix and Ken admitted to Kirara that he was doing what Aniki did. I think now, their relationship is so strained that its more or less just awkwardness between them, plus animosity that has not been discussed about the situation. I think the boys and their dad nees to have a heart to heart, and if they agree, then need to meet their Dad's lover and talk with him and have a heart to heart. Afterwards, they need to come out to their dad.

This ...thank you ...I think the dad also fall short by not having a sit down with the boys and explaining to them about what's going on and open them to what it means to be queer I also feel the conversation should of been a sit down with both parents they just dropped a bomb

Yeeeees. Yes! There's so much that has been unspoken and just....left to simmer and marinate. And they were young children when this happened! The dad and mom not sitting down with these two boys and explaining thing could have been detrimental. They could've gone on hating any and everything about the LGBTQIA+ community through hatred and ignorance and it could've been worse when they were older than what it was when they were younger. If this was real life, it could've definitely gone that way. And following the story, they could've hated themselves and each other for being gay. There's so much that could've gone wrong that might've been fixed or at least understood had the ADULTS adulted and done their part.
