Tf did she do to deserve an asylum she needs to heal not be locked up in a mental hospital. And going based off the setting of the story do u know what that entails? Her reputation would be worse than smeared shit. Mental asylums especially in that time period don’t exist to treat the mentally ill, they’re meant to keep them locked up and away from society w/o the need to convict them of a crime.
