MCs stalk the MLs(altho Soohyun is more manipulative but iel wasn't referring to that). MLs know and are both unhinged in their own way, too. Pretty much reminded me of their HS days. Checkmate does have a different atmosphere compared to this one but there's a minimal resemblance to their characters.
