yes! he does regret his actions very deeply and in my opinion he might actually have the best character development out of any seme. And no, no cheating has happened between them, the ml used to have a girlfriend but he already broke up w her after a few chapters.

the way he does it isnt the best way but like he takes him out on expensive dates buys expensive stuff etc etc. just throws money on him which may seem that he doing so to make the guilt lessen AND HES AWARE OF THAT (he knows he is the problem). He still hasn't earned the victims forgiveness and more one thing to mention the ml is head over heels for the victim thats why he does the things he does, which i hate to say but is cute... and sometimes he comes off as a total asshole but it adds to complex character he is.
