I actually think Fu Rin’s back story has a lot to do with the plot and the secrets behind Xin’s family because of what happened to the glasses girl she was a bodyguard for. I miss Xin and Lau, but this is going to be a slow burn comic. It’s more focused on the plot and the mystery that is going on with the different family branches. The author I think stated that they will get together, but that it’s not the main focus of the story.

Ayyy so true ! Ofcourse I'm aware of this as well but still can't help but missing our Main protagonists.
It's been a while since we last saw them.

I get it I miss them too.I think we will get back to the two of them in a few chapters and maybe we will find out more from this about who’s tattooing Xin or that the actress will tell Lau some bit of information.
Can we please have Lau and Xin . THE MAIN CHARACTERS ffs ? I appreciate that side chaps aren't simply 2D & certainly won't mind seeing them once in a while . But it's been 2 months since Xin's last appearance ! The cover page has Xin not fu rin & her 4 eyed villain FRIEND
