I mean it's obvious he wasn't gonna be just a possesive lover from the moment we got his backstory. But i would be all for it depending on the ending. They get together woohoo? Naw, that's just bs. Mc gets away? I could do with that. It would be interesting to see this type of ml that actually doesn't give af about mc but what he wants from him.
i said it was unexpected in the beginning, not when we got his backstory though. cuz not all deeply hurt people take it out on someone they love. signs of manipulation/possessiveness were there but not conscious malicious intent

No no, I agree. Im pretty sure this is gonna be more romance than psychological. Which is a shame because it would have been great in the latter. I'm slowly getting bored of the mc's reactions to ml. If they're just gonna suck each other's faces until mc goes he a bad btch but he loves me I'm out. I'm just waiting for him to find out the true extent to see what happens.
