Yeah, yeah. But assuming the author is selling a love story or a relationship people are at least supposed to like at the end (not sure if this is the goal). If that isn't the goal then I believe people wouldn't expect any change from him. At least I wouldn't.
It's a love story, so obv semes feelings and emotional capacity will evolve to an extent. So yes, he will 'change'. But hes still going to be a psychopath, (assuming the author remains consistent) he's not going to grovel the wholesome way with flowers (hyperbole) which other readers seem to expect from him, is what im saying. Though, im sure he will find a way around it- that being HIS way,
Redemption arc what?? Guys, he's a DIAGNOSED PSYCHOPATH. They dont suddenly fall in love and get "cured"- dont confuse people who are assholes bc of their experiences (e.g. jinx) w people whos literal brain composition is different. If anything the story is unravelling in a way that, the mc is got a little thing in his brain going on too (hence, novel readers have hinted at as well as wooyeon has identified IN THIS CHAPTER)
