I get what they are trying to do with this side story, i actually enjoy it focusing on their relationship etc
But the fact that her hair was one of the important if bot the most important factor for her life and abuse and she just cuts it of like its NOTHING to look "pretty" for a guy is super disappointing and unsatisfactory. It would have made more sense if yhe chose to cuz it to signify a new/fresh start but nope they chose to make her do it to look pretty for guy...
