I'll be honest I think it's bad writing. So far I'd enjoyed this manhwa, but right when the father thing started, the story kinda went downhill bc things just aren't logical to how normal people would act in the situation. Like, shouldn't the father be scared he might've killed someone and would end up in jail too??

Honestly, it’s perfectly logical from a psychological standpoint. Sohan has childhood trauma, and his father was all he had while growing up. So in his situation, of course it makes sense to not want to let go of the only family you’ve ever known. In Sohan’s mind, if he gave up his dad and Sihwa left, he’d be all alone.
