what is bara ?

bara is japanese for "rose"(flower) and it designates yaoi with muscular and really manly men... muscle, hair, hairs, dirt, and all that jizz^^

Yaoi is manga written by females (usually) for the (mainly) female audience. Bara us (usually) written by men for the male audience.
