BDSM??

I can count the amount of good BDSM stories on one hand at this point. It annoys me that authors clearly use it as a gimmick to show how 'tough' and 'violent' their tops are and I'm actually sick of it.

This is one of the few times an author has actually used a safe word as well and even then they didn't follow it properly, as if you have to meet some hidden condition for a safe word to be counted as valid.

If you're going to use something that has clearly established rules, then follow those rules please. Rather than adding fire to the concept that BDSM is just used to abuse people.
