yes, literally. I got this term from a straight webdrama where the main couple was forced to kiss in front of many people (ml thought they'd just do peck or simple liplock) but after that, when they got out of people's eyes, the ml complained that fl did not just kiss him, he "inhaled" him. if I remember correctly, ml said: "no, you didn't kiss me. you inhaled me!" so from then on, every comic I read where couples kiss open-mouthed, I call it "they inhale each other" ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
