As for Pink Diamonds disappearance. It can only be one of two things, 1) She was kidnapped possibly by a “rumored” lover or someone who wishes to take advantage of her political position or 2) She ran away! But if so, why? From what or who was she trying to run away from? Could she have purposely stated her participation in round 5 to deter her enemies and others around her from the fact that she was planning to run away? If so, it makes sense. If her enemies believe she is an active contender it would give her time to run away and hide herself from whatever she is fleeing from. Although, all of this is just a hypothesis that I came up with based on Pink Diamonds characteristics, and information we have been given so far.

If the point of the show is to find true love and not know who any of the participants are. Then why did pink diamond announced that she will participate in round 5! That would obviously attract other men with the sole purpose of connecting themselves with her which would defeat the purpose of finding true love, and would no longer make sense on why she would even participate. I can’t help but feel like she did it on purpose, like there’s a hidden play at game. Based on all descriptions of pink diamond, she’s extremely smart, cunning, spoiled and promiscuous. Even when she was married there were rumors of her having multiple lovers. And for her husband to die within two years of marriage, along with her disappearance right after her announcement of joining round 5. I can’t help but feel like there’s a bigger picture that we’re unaware of because we’ve been so focused on obsidian and the other gems. I also feel like Moon owl has some sort of understanding of the situation which he hasn’t explained to the MC yet. Hopefully, we get closer to figuring it out. But with the way this is going it feels like it’s going to take a while before we start getting more hints at the situation at hand with pink diamond and her disappearance.
