i could try to explain it
firstly its read from right from left to right.
secondly i'm going to break it down into four plot points so that its easier to understand:
1.) the first plot point is develop around the "winged" ones. their race has little females so in order to re-procreate they capture elf-en woman.
during one of these "raids", the general of the winged army, Arkros, came across a half human half elf hybrid,Taavi and took him in as a sex slave/servant. but because of his hybrid status he is hated by pretty much everyone and eventually kicked out of the winged kingdom, Aterion, while his master is away. now he's in the dessert with this shady character trying to get back.
2.) the second plot line revolves around the prince of the elves and a human, Venier. thanks to elf-human alliance the prince has taken in Ven since he was young to train him to become a warrior of there army, now grown he's become one of their top warrior and the prince has developed feelings for him.
NB elves don't age the same as human so the prince has remained the same
3.) Venier was in a relationship with a lord. (a lord seems to be a race of magical beings). for some reasons unknown, the lord and Ven are not together anymore and they seem to be enemies. this lord's races has formed an alliance with the winged race to obtain this "very important" box.
4.) this one i'm not so sure about but it seems like some guy with a curse is trying to find Taavi's ancestors to kill them and wipe out his bloodline and finding out the this person is dead, Taavi's father is dead now next on the hit list is Taavi.
