it's his original face, not nigel's.
when he joined the game 'nigel' changed to look like him, he realises later on in the story that the game they played in real life had a different design for the character nigel, and og nigel/glarius also tells him and gets his old face back.
so the face you see is his own. plus he looks exactly the same as his korean self except the colours
