As a psychology student who studies abnormal psychology, you are correct. His behaviour falls under cluster B personality disorders, and mostly psychopathy. They’re very charming, charismatic, and often have a respectful high standing in society which allows them to act the way they do. Oftentimes, they’ll become obsessed with their target but since they’re literally unable to develop emotional empathetic bonds, it’ll come off as something like this ML is exhibiting.
