True i also got confused on the way the story work..
I think her memory got mixed up with her past different world and the present past story in and her body memory.. so she only remembered the story like in the novel she read and the memory she remembers at the body she resides in and totally forgot the past world she live in. Except the story:)
In one of the later chapters, it says that she didn't actually transmigrate. It was a very brief thing of like 2 sentences, but after she admits it being a novel, her dad said her mom cast a small spell on her so she'd remember it like that so she'd be less traumatized. She is actually the OG soul and it was never a novel
