Idk I see a lot of people being ashamed of using mangago so much, but personally I'm not. I don't see the difference between reading a book and reading webcomics, I like both. I love getting invested in a story, the world-building, the art, the characters. I've seen the most batshit insane stories on here but also fascinating works of art that have inspired me with my own writing. But also I'm not really here for yaoi so maybe that has to do with it. TLDR: why the shame if you enjoy reading them?

I'm still pretty young so I can't relate to that. But the way I see it, there really aren't any supposed to's in life, especially not when it comes to your hobbies. Some adults are really into My Little Pony, some adults collect Squishmallows and it's no one's buisness but them. I don't think it says anything about your maturity or what kind of person you are, only your taste in the media you consume. Though I understand the advice "just don't be embarrassed" is easier said than done
