my fam did that once with me. It was a word in a language i dont speak anymore so i didn't know what it meant. when i told my dad, he said to say this thing. and when mom came back home she excitedly asked what did he say?
i still genuinely thought it was something silly but i guess not. cuz when i answered what my dad said, her smile dropped and she started crying. then yelled at my father. and they started bickering.
i asked dad again what did i say and what did it mean and he still said "dont worry about it". it still haunted me to this day. i didn't know what i said
they should just tell their child that they're fighting but instead pull some kind of shit like that and made their child deliver their hateful word for each other. any child at his age will be traumatized by that he even told to himself that he do that so his parents doesn't fight, that was just so heartbreaking
