I think manifesting as an omega made him prettier as well. I remember in the first chapters of Love is an illusion. Mc turned into an omega and his friend told him that he looks more prettier. His hair were smooth and his face more shiny. That's why it has to do with the fact they turned out as omegas that made them more beautiful
