ive been reading yaoi for like. 7 years and i never seen any comments anywhere of fujos complaining that a woman is being cheated on in a yaoi that's just not common at all

Okay first of...the point was that people would complain about cheating in GENERAL.
Second off...man or woman they in fact DO complain??? Especially on here. Idk if you stay away from the comment section or you read somewhere else but I ALWAYS see people complaining about the cheating and feeling bad for the person who was cheating on. Because cheating is never okay...?

Like I genuinely don't know where you're reading because I can think of this one yaoi off the top of my head where when it focused on the side couple the LI was initially a fboy so he'd sleep around but after being introduced to the ML he stopped sleeping around but the author purposely left us on a cliffhanger to make it look like he slept with a guy while "crushing" in the ML and the comments immediately started to hate him. Mind you, they weren't even together yet and people were already against it.
There's actually another one I can think of where the the LI honestly has a nonchalant personality and he decides to meet up with an old friend but he kept the ML in the dark but with the LI's personality people didn't know whether or not to believe he was actually loyal so naturally people assumed he was cheating and he instantly got hate.

And those are also specifically yaois. So lying and saying youve "never" seen these things with SEVEN years of reading is a HUGE unnecessary stretch.

Matter of fact there is this one yaoi where iirc cause I haven't read it in a long, I think it was one of the first yaois when I came onto this site... and it's not really a situation of cheating but moreso the guy leading the woman on...so this guy was an insane playboy and he "fell in love at first sight" with a scammer, the LI and as the story progressed one of the women he led on wanted to screw him over and the comments were on the woman's side. Because although he is the ML, people know he was wrong to lead someone on if he wasn't even interested. She was painted as a "villain" by the writer yeah but by the readers themselves from the comments they completely sided with her in that case.

I remember these things because I was one of those people and when something bothers me while reading I immediately go to the comments and find people who agree so I know I'm not going crazy

I'm also not good with remembering names and I haven't read these in a while but if you used the descriptions I provided of those scenarios and ask a question I'm sure someone could find the titles for you if you wanted to know

maybe you misread my comment because i specifically talked about women. and the one example you gave of a woman being cheated on, the writer still portrayed her as a villian. at least netsuzuo trap portrays the boyfriend as a victim and he gets multiple apologies from his ex (that was a victim of sa lowkey) and everyone here bashes her and feels bad for him like okay double standard
