I think it’s a good way to show her character. She’s so focused on the future she was promised that she does everything to her detriment to achieve it. Deep down I’m sure she’s aware how her ex-husband/husband/waste of oxygen feels about her, but she’s so determined to get the future she was promised (which she thinks will be like the past that she loved). To me it seems that she has unknowingly already lost love for the waste of space husband, and just treats her “wifely duties” as another one of her part time jobs. She keeps making excuses for him but there’s no way she really believes it, these excuses are just for her sanity. I just can’t wait to see how her relationship with roses will affect her.
I understand that she’s being mentally abused by this useless sperm with orange hair, but I need her to snap outta of it cause its obvious even by her that he is complete trash, considering she’s been having feelings for a guy who finally notices her. Ps. I know it’s uncanon but you can’t doubt the simple fact that she is questioning herself her current relationship I mean even her ancestors are sending her warnings that this guy is red flags with dreams of him cheating.
