Hello! im so confused because I saw a tumblr post about Jian Yi's age and that he repeated HS and that Zheng is in college now but there are chapters where they were in the same uniform, so are we reading are in the past???

Yes everything being told right now in recent chapters takes place in the past when they where in middle school. But in the very beginning it shows Jian Yi had to repeat HS while Zheng is in college
