i honestly don’t understand why only the bad stories get serialized into manhuas. there are so many great chinese novels, but they almost always become chinese dramas instead of manhuas. don’t get me wrong, i love cdramas, but most chinese dramas are adapted from novels, which leaves the manhuas to only be from trashy novels….

i checked the official sites of both the webtoon and novel and i'm pretty sure the author is korean. all the official sites for the novel are korean (b*mtoon, n*ver, etc). there's even comments on the sites saying they're surprised it isn't chinese.

Can chinese bl authors do better than write shitty characters like this? I havent seen main characters who can stand up for himself and not actually submit to their abusers without dismissing the most toxic actions done to them. The fact that so many chinese bl novels follow this type of storyline is just disgusting lol.
