That was the little point that confuse me.. but i guess its clear up... I understood after reading both story about mei and his problems with the twins.. what got me confuse when he was saying how there was always this lonely boy (his current lover) is waiting for him... and we know that he is in love with his current lover... but than he went on about his love dying... now I understand he change who he was talking about... geez this story really is annoying..

Okay here is how it goes. Both twins were in love with Mei but Mei fell in love with the Boy/Twin-Sato. Girl-Sato figured it out and the same night Mei was going to confess his love to her brother the girl committed suicide. Then Mei turned his back on Boy/Twin-Sato because he felt responsible for his sisters suicide. Then Mei got with the prequel-Sato knowing that he was being used for revenge againist Twin/boy-Sato, Mei was using Prequel-Sato's revenge to push Boy/Twin-Sato further away. Their all depressed because none of them get what they set out for. Prequel-Sato wanted revenge but instead ended up in love and open to the possibility of being hurt again. Mei wanted to let himself be used to drive a final wedge between him and the Twin/Boy-Sato by hurting him enough to ruin any future chance to be together and thereby "disrespecting" the Twin/Girl-satos memory but instead ended up killing his feelings for the Boy/Twin-Sato. Mei is not actually speaking to the Prequel-Sato he's hugging he's apologizing to the Twin/Boy-Sato (who's still in love with Mei) because instead of giving Twin/Boy a reason to hate him and as a penance for the girls suicide he fell in love with prequel-Sato. The last line about their love coming again I think is basically that he'd being staying with prequel-Sato because he feels that they will be able to eventually recover from the painful relationships (Prequel-Sato/Akira, and Mei/Twin-Satos) that started the whole thing and be able to really love and be happy again in their new unexpected/unwanted love.
I'd also like to say that overly poetic stories are a pain in the ass. I actually had to put the end of both stories up to compare to figure out WTF was going on. Really she shoulda stuck with just the first story and left alone.
