Can’t really blame him for the inferiority and wanting Issei close to him. Afterall, he lived in regret for 6 YEARS. Issei confessed without giving him time and space to think about it. Nacchan thought how it would be great if Issei tell him earlier so he can navigate the relationship better because he loves Issei too. On the other hand, Issei assumed Nacchan’s feelings saying he didn’t have to answer and went about his way leaving Nacchan stuck in that moment. They found each other back but Issei is a brand new successful person meanwhile Nacchan, is just an ordinary man who kept being reminded of the guilt and regret he had. In my opinion, they shouldn’t get into the relationship that fast. They need to process the abandoned emotions and feelings of those 6 years.
