Well since a lot was cut short in the manga. I'll just tell you what I remember happened in the novel. She went back again after the funeral scene to a time before her mother was unalive herself. This time she confronted her mother and managed to stop the tragedy from repeating.
Before I continue please take a deep breath and try to stay calm cause it's bad.
So when she stopped her mom, she asked her if the mom loved her. Like the past ending, she said she didn't and Ilya lost all sanity and strangled her mom. I mean like she's been broken more times than we can remember so no wonder she did what she did. One of the servant's marge I think was the one who barged in the room and stopped Ilya. Things got worse when the father got the news of the situation. They were in the mother's room. Without properly confirming anything He struck her right across her face. She fell and just sat there while her father abused her verbally and physically. (I'm gonna cry) Marge tried to stop the master and told him that Ilya seemed like she was injured. And the butler also brought the knife that the mother used to end herself. Her father asked what was the knife for and what it meant. The mother only said "A knife has many uses" Ilya told him what the mother tried to do with the knife. Can you imagine her pain when all BS was thrown at her by the father and the mother just sat there quietly watching her daughter being abused? This is a snip from the novel.
Mother: “What have you done, Ilya… what have you…”
Ilya: “Mother, isn’t it fine for me… to protect myself?.....After all, mother you, about me… you … do not… love me, right?... Since you won’t defend me, Mother… then, I have to protect me... myself…”
I think this is enough hahaha. Honestly, I couldn't describe the situation in the novel that well but trust me if you read it... rage would fill you as much as sorrow does.
Do me a solid mate and just tell me, will MC end up happy? That's all I need to know.
No ending yet. The novel has not been updated since September 2023. But in the few last chapters uodated... she didn't die and is on the run from her family. She's a live and getting help to stay alive
I don't think this was in the novel. Maybe it was but maybe not. Still this was a good pov of what happened after her death. Solei and Silvia you both do not deserve anything but suffering. I've read the novel and I know no matter how many time life repeats. YOU WILL NEVER BE TRUE AND CAUSE PAIN TO YOUR SISTER! I wish nothing but for them both to experience the pain ilya went through so they will truly understand what PAIN means
