There are too many themes or plot points jumbled together! Its somewhat annoying to read. Authors will usually pick one of the plots to focus on instead of stitching them all together like this. It gives the feeling that the story lacks focus or clear direction.

Some of the characters are irritating but not as hateful as a similar series Otakus Daughter. That series just brings forward absolute hatred and vitriol from people. Both of the parents are pretty terrible in This series though.

I can sort of predict the ending already, but lets hope it gets better for the MC.

That's life though. Life doesn't follow one clear story line, and sometimes days or even weeks go by without something eventful happening, so you wind up forgetting most of it making your memory just a collection of the highlights. And yeah, that can be kind of annoying in a way because i read manga for the escape, but still. I found it endearing.

I personally feel that slice of life is the hardest story to write properly. It can easily end up as laundry lists or pointlessly exploring one tangent to another. Its difficult to turn everyday life into something interesting and engaging. You need to have very solid characters, and the ability to engage the readers with their daily life with interesting or strange/intriguing events that could have happened. I mean, with the advent of social media, live streams, nearly unlimited server capacity and smart phones, people can upload their entire lives up to the net for the world to see, but how many of them are actually interesting?
