Yeah, I don't experience that too. Worst I get would be a weird pain in my tummy; but never to the point of diarrhea. Manga logic barely makes sense; I mean, people don't experience nosebleed when they're horny.
I think it's due to the person immune system?
For my case, yes I would get a diarrhea if I ate more than 2 cones of ice cream. and if I don't dry myself well enough after I got drench cause of the rain, I usually will got cold/fever in the next day. But it's different with my brother he usually fine with the ice cream and rain things...
It depends on someone... i think so too, but somehow in every manga storyline why is everyone system immune is so low lol ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Cause low immune system gives more chance to do cliche stuff we all love
Dunno about the shaved ice, but the ice cream is probably because they're lactose intolerant. Apparently 95% of people in Africa and Asia, as in the entire continent, are lactose intolerant and unable to digest a lot of milk and milk products and stuff. Actually, maybe a lot of shaved ice can cause diarrhea because it's cold and it's a lot of liquid you're eating? I think that actually happened to me once, with both shaved ice and ice cream. lol Side note: I'm also from an Asian country, so I count underneath that 95%.

Oh really? :/ I'm from South Asia, and it's common there. I got the 95% thing off of wikipedia, so it's probably not completely accurate. Or maybe it really is just certain parts of Asia, and not the entire continent after all.

I've eaten more ice cream and shaved ice than them but I've never experience something like that??
