I actually agree romance is so unnecessary, i often drop them like solo leveling (even tho ive read until 160+ chapters and also the other manhwa solo max newbie - i dropped then the moment the mc started to focus on their romance interest) i still can tolerate eleceed romance like jiwoo and jiyoung bcs theres not much of them i can just skip them (i dont like them at all, i prefer him to be with the black and white hair girl if he has to be with someone)
I may get hate for this, but I think this story is perfect without romance
I'm okay with being there being crushes every now and then, but this story is so perfect without romance… Even tho my words will be ignored, and this story becomes romance story anyway. I'm sobbing
I just always thought since the beginning of the book that the story was just about making friends. Jiwoo gets stronger with his power and lives forever with the people who discovered his forest and found their way through his ups and downs. They finally find a field of grass and a big tree where they can finally relax within his protection.
