That's exactly the point. he had asahi all for himself the whole time when yoshikuni wasn't there but he NEVER had the guts to get out of the comfortable companionship as best friends. Plus, since the beginning, he was already FRIENDZONED.

This story gave me mixed feelings too!! I mean first Seita was straight then now he's gay and wants Asahi, what's up with that? I mean he had Asahi to himself why they were in school so Asahi might have fallen for him before he saw Yoshikuni!!! I think Asahi needs to stop drinking if all he does is pass out, anybody can do anything to him and he wouldn't know!! I really thought this was yaoi not shounen ai!! thx D
