Hi Lollipop! I have been thinking over a year now about continuing Docchi mo Docchi on my own – now's the time it seems to join forces :D
So, here's the deal: I've got digital raws for Vols. 1-4 and Vol. 5 as a tankoubon, I can clean, probably even typeset. What I cannot do is translating & proof reading (no native English speaker, alas). From what source language do you intend to translate? Maybe Anonymous from the comment beneath likes to join, too ...?
I would do Vol. 1 too, because it seems you can't buy it anymore on June's website – also DMP never released a digital copy (Baka Updates is listing it as dropped). If you don't want to get in trouble with your scan group, you can always go anon or idk I'll do the first vol. then you'll continue with No. 2 etc. We'll find a way!
I'll post some sort of contact by the end of the week (I just can't find my special list with passwords for the life of me dang!!!), so keep an eye out :3

Is vol 1 unavailable now? I thought you could still buy it even if I saw the series has indeed been dropped, this is why I wanted to make some detailed summaries. In that case, it changes everything and I'm willing to do vol 1 as well. Don't worry, the projects I take outside of the scan group isn't its business, so I'll just take one of my two names.
Unfortunately, I'm not fluent in Japanese to be able to translate it only from raw, but I do check it to make sure the translation is correct (or at least, make sure it's close enough). So I work with both Japanese and French scans (not fanmade, the series has been licensed in France). Translation & Proofreading is no problem for me (in case Anon wants to translate as well, we'll wait for their answer! I hope they'll answer us, the more the merrier~

Hi Sweet Sinnamon, I've seen that someone translated the whole first volume (up to chap 5 + extra) and posted them on YouTube (for me the picts were kinda blurred but I don't know if it's cause of my slow internet connection -_-), dunno if you've seen the links below~ Would it be worth retranslating the 1St volume? Wasn't chapter 5 missing in that one, though? When I checked the scanner's tumblr there were only 4 chapters, plus the extra. And ch.4 looked like it was missing a page, too. So if @Wee-Wee Lollipop and @Sweet Sinnamon are willing to do it, I think it'd be amazing!

Well tbh I won't translate vol 1 for the time being because I'm too busy and doing all translate/edit/typeset is a 1st for me (I'm usually only translating) but I've made some summaries I'll post along with the 1st chap of the 2ND volume. If anyone joins me (at least one or two) it may be possible to re-release the 1st vol.
As for the 5th chapter, if I remember well, it was a one-shot, so nothing to do with the main story (or I may be mistaking the whole thing and there're only 4 chapters including the one-shot +extra == my brain is running empty atm x)).

Well, I've been thinking about it for a few months now, but I think it's too much of a shame to let this series sink into oblivion!
There's a real evolution in the story even if the beginning seems average, common. I know it's been licensed in English BUT I've seen that it has been dropped by June and only 1 volume has been released. Thus, I find really sad the fact that the fanbase (the ones who don't understand Spanish nor French) won't be able to know what's happening next (even with the RAWs).
So, I intend to translate this series starting volume 2 up to vol 5 (just to respect the fact that vol 1 has been released, I'll just make a detailed summary for each chapter of v.1 on my tumblr or other blog) - I translate other series but since the scan group I'm in also has the policy not to take series that has been licensed (which is normal) I can't summit this project.
I just can't clean/typeset (I don't have enough time because of my studies), so if there's anyone willing to help, just reply to this msg and know you'll make hundreds fans happy <3
